What a coincidence.
Nancy, I'm glad to know you guys don't think I'm a dunce! :)
Donna, if it's not too much trouble that would be a fantastic help. I would really appreciate it.
Crystal, your technique sounds great. I will try it on some scraps.
You ladies are great. I know I will figure this out, and I will have all of you to thank for it.
Have a great night,
Gerigschwarzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00455740986195345916noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6249465204531930257.post-39405953035339441012010-01-08T21:53:53.453-06:002010-01-08T21:53:53.453-06:00I have been making some...but I made copies...and ...I have been making some...but I made copies...and then cut out the triangle (the whole triangle...2 per page) Then I turn it around and copy what is on front on the back. So I have it on the front and back. Then I take the fabric and the background fabric I have it in about a 6x6 square...you have left overs from it but you have to have it bigger so it fits all the far corners. Then I sew from the back side (the side I put the markings on) I sew a 1/4" from the line...not sure if it is corrent but I don't know how to really get it completely on the line..I should try harder. Then after sewing I fold over and iron. Then I cut the material a little over the line...about 1/4" and then add the next fabric...and then repeat.

Then once I am done I turn it over and use my ruler to cut around the edges to discard the extra fabric. Then you take off the paper (if you use a smaller stitch size you can fold on the stitch line and it will come off easily). Then you can sew together like regular blocks.

I bet Donna's picture progress will help too! A nice tutorial!

Good luck!! :DCrystal Hendrixhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13474148625835632625noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6249465204531930257.post-5154396712806881702010-01-08T18:53:24.074-06:002010-01-08T18:53:24.074-06:00Geri,
